1999 - 2005 Chairman of the Kenmare Hurling and Football Club

During my time as Chairman, the club constructed a 7,200 sq ft a multi facetted sports facility. I coordinated the planning, funding and construction of a 32,000 sq ft all weather synthetic grass pitch www.kerrygaelicsportscentre.com . The clubs income increased during my term of office from €21,000 to €73,000 per annum. Previously held the position of vice chairman and public relations.
