Contemporary Centre of Irish Culture Kenmare Print E-mail

Senator Daly is one of a number of local business people and residents who have envisioned the building of a Centre of Contemporary Irish Culture in Kenmare.
This centre will be a multifunctional exhibition facility which can adapt and change to present the most current expression of Ireland through the arts, music, design and craftsmanship. The plan includes up to seven interchangeable galleries that can be combined or moved to accommodate all exhibitions.

Kenmare’s reputation and scenery makes it the perfect setting for a world class tourist attraction. The proposed location for the centre is on the old dump/gravel site on the left as you approach the suspension bridge when leaving Kenmare town.
