The Irish Deaf Society IDS is the nominating Body for Senate Election. One of the Senator's objectives is to put in place legislation that would give formal recognition to Irish Sign Language ISL. It is also an aim to work with the IDS to put in place a system where by all TD's would hold a clinic once a month where they would have ISL interrupters available. |
