As spokesperson for the party on Communications I propose to introduce the Mobile Phone Warning Labelling Legislation, making people aware of the potential dangers to children of mobile phones. This was recommended by an Oireachtas Committee in 2005. The EU Environmental Agency has recommended that Governments adopt the precautionary Principal when it comes to children’s health.
