Speaking following the fifth anniversary of the capture and imprisonment of an Israeli Soldier, Gilad Shalit, who was held in “inhumane conditions within the Gaza Strip”, Senator Daly joins with other Seanad Members in calling for his release from captivity.

Senator Daly also said he looked forward the proposed debate on Palestinian Statehood.
