For immediate release 19 May 2009 SENATOR DALY WELCOMES TODAY'S ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW GREEN FAS COURSES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR Senator Mark Daly, today Tuesday 19 May, welcomes An Tanaiste's, Mary Coughlan T.D., Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment, announcement of new training programmes for those who have lost their jobs in the construction sector. 'This commitment indicates this Government's desire to get the country back working, helping people to reskill, taking advantage of opportunities that are emerging in the Green Sector.', states Senator Daly.' It can only add to communities within Kerry'. The new FÁS courses are aimed at helping those in construction convert or upgrade their skills set to take advantage of the new wave of green and clean-tech opportunities coming on-stream nationally.
