KERRY SCHOOLS AWARDED FUNDING FOR REPAIRS & ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION Print E-mail
Senator Mark Daly welcomes today announcement by the Department of Education and Science that Lauragh National School has been approved funding for a new drop off and pick up area for the school.

Together with local councillors Michael Cahill and Michael O'Shea, Senator Daly also  welcomes  the announcement that the following schools have had funding approved by the Department of Education & Science for repairs and additional accommodation:

The Intermediate School and Scoil Mhuire, both in Killorglin, are to have a window replacement and flooring replace respectively, and in Milltown, the Presentation Secondary School has been approved additional accommodation.

'Despite the current economic climate, I will continue to push the Minister for Education to approve funding for the schools of Kerry.', says Senator Daly.
